Really good chippy. I don't know why we haven't gone here before. The chips were cooked perfectly. The staff could be more pleasant but the food made up for any unpleasantness. The portion size is awesome and I think the large chips could feed 4 people. I like the number system of the ordering so that you know when and where your order is. I would more than happily suggest this chippy to others. You can also park right outside.
Got a Regular and large chips and Irish curry sauce ..and wow ..portion sizes are HUGE.. Really tasty too and friendly service .. very impressed
Staying in Burry Port for a few days and arrived Sunday eve when no pubs were serving but this chippy was open. Good menu, I liked the fact they did different sizes of cod as well as a vegan selection too. That's quite rare! Had a medium cod, chips, home made coleslaw and curry sauce. All delicious! Staff were friendly and helpful. Place looked clean and tidy and prices were definitely more reasonable than Weston super Mare where I'm from! Definitely recommend. No photo as was too ravenous when I got back to the Airbnb.
Had fish chips and curry sauce absolutely stunning, piping hot ,the place was spotless and the staff was polite and welcoming, will definitely call back when in the area, highly recommend.
Bowens chippy is fantastic and has a range of vegan options which is a massive bonus as you don't really find that anywhere. Chips always taste great, the vegan dippers are fab, only suggestion I would make is changing the vegan sausage being offered. The vegan sausages I had were over fried and a crumbly mess. Quorn have catering packs of vegan sausages that fry really well and taste great. Thanks for the great food
Nice chips, great fish 2 medium, 2 large and 5.5 of chips for two couples . More than enough chips and fish were quite generous servings too. We thoroughly enjoyed and I dined on the surplus chips for another two meals - as side dishes gently reheated in the microwave . Scrumptious!!
What a delight to find a chip shop that serves vegan food!! Really lovely place, really friendly I could park right by door so didn't have to take my little one who has autism we struggle to go into any shops. she was safe to stay in the car literally 3 steps away .I ordered vegan nuggets. Vegan sausage brocoli cauliflower bites in batter .all we fab the chips are the best iv tasted in a long long time .highly recommended guys
Arrived and was already pretty busy. Didn't order any fish, so didn't have too wait too long for the food but felt that my order could have been take a bit quicker. Amazing food though, really delicious and with very good portion sizes, so great value. Will definitely be calling back again!
